Works on line 14 in Paris (France) are going on with all service suspended on Saturday and Sunday mornings for the coming weeks. Download the updated "temporary" files:

Bardejov

P. Absolon has prepared data for (yet) another city in Solvakia: Bardejov.

Madrid

Next Thursday or Friday, Metro line 8 in Madrid (Spain) will be extended to the Barajas airport terminal 4, according to N. Knapp.

Brussels (night bus)

There is a new complete night bus service in Brussels (Belgium), running on week-ends, and L. Debacker has prepared the corresponding database for MétrO.

New York (works)

The special "works" version of our New York (USA) database has been updated with the latest MTA advisories for the coming week.

Because of the extent of the current advisories, a few disruptions are not taken into account (especially on line 6).
Next update planned on or around Friday, May 4 (or maybe on Monday, April 30).

Madrid

Subway line 10 in Madrid (Spain) has been extended today with 11 new stations (!) north of the city.

An updated database is available here and I will try to add it to our online update services tomorrow evening and through our online update services (as of April 27).

Montréal

S. Tremblay reports the opening in Montréal (Canada) of the subway extension to Laval, at the end of this week.

Amsterdam + Rotterdam

K. de Bondt provided an update for a museum in Rotterdam and one additional POI for Amsterdam (in the Netherlands, of course).

Paris (works)

Line 14 in the Paris (France) subway is stil in works, bringing various changes in service on week-end mornings. Download the updated "temporary" files:

Tomorrow (April 23), the bus network in Paris (France) will have a new line (64) and services on lines 26 & 62 wil be modified.

Cremona

L. Gombi has prepared the data for the bus network in Cremona (Italy).

Madrid

The subway network in Madrid (Spain) will be extended again tomorrow with line 3 doubling its length. As usual, N. Knapp provided the information.

For those who can't wait, I will try to release the new file this evening the new database is available here or with our online update services.

Manila

P. Pantaleon has suggested a few minor improvements on our database for Manila (Philippines).

Brussels

There have been significant changes in Brussels (Belgium) last Monday and L. Debacker provided a complete update.

Daejeon

The subway line in Daejeon (Korea) has been extended with 10 new stations.

València

The metro network in València (Spain) has been extended again and now reaches the airport.

UpToDown

For the opening of their new section devoted to Windows Mobile platforms, UpToDown (based in Spain) has selected MetrO as an editor's choice.

Paris (works)

Works at the "Gare de l'Est" station in Paris (France) should have ended this morning. Additionally, RER A service to Cergy & Poissy is modified after 22:30 until Friday (April 20). Download the updated "temporary" files:

Toulouse

M. Dulerm has reorganized and streamlined a pair of railway lines for our Toulouse (France) database.

Palma de Mallorca

While working on the future networks in Spain, I have created a database for the Metro of Palma de Mallorca, including the existing SFM railway lines.

Málaga

P. Rivière sent the data for the future Metro in Málaga (Spain). I also added the existing Cercanías lines.

i-MetrO (mobile)

I have slightly improved the design of our i-MetrO mobile service, for i-mode phones and other connected mobile devices.

It is a good opportunity to announce that this service is now accessible through a new shorter URL: http://i-metro.mobi.

In loosely related news, we have also launched a web page about the future version of MetrO for the BlackBerry. It is still far from reality and for BlackBerry owners who can't wait, we recommend using i-MetrO mobile.

Bremen

L. Freund noticed a lot of changes on the Bremen (Germany) network.

A completely redesigned version of i-MetrO is now available with exciting new features:

• Options to select the transport systems you want to use (or not to use) for your route
• Route calculation from/to a street address in a few cities
  

MetrO 5.5.0

The new release of MetrO is out with one new city (Miskolc in Hungary) and important updates on many networks (Berlin, Budapest, Lausanne, Linz, Los Angeles, Paris, Pau, San Francisco, Tours, Valencia, Vienna).

Madrid

The extension of the Madrid (Spain) metro network progresses at a rapid pace: N. Knapp announces the opening of 4 new stations, on lines 1 and 4 (which will now connect at their northern ends).

F. Felser has provided one additional bus line for the network in Wien/Vienna (Austria).

Pau

M. Dulerm sent an almost entirely new version for the bus network in Pau (France).

San Francisco

With the new T-Third line starting full service today, there are significant changes on the MUNI Metro system in San Francisco (USA).

Paris

The bus services in Paris (France) are improving: line 75 now runs later in the evening as well as on Sunday. More changes are planned at the end of the month, with the extension of the subway line 14.

With the opening of the CDGVAL (reported before), I have improved our description for the bus lines going to the CDG airport.

Valencia

A new station has opened in the metro network in Valencia (Spain).

Paris

A new "metro" line (CDGVAL) has opened at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris (France), serving the 3 terminals and 2 car parks.

Additionally, D. Pellegrini noticed that after its recent renovation, station "Pierre Curie" has been renamed to "Pierre & Marie Curie".

Paris (works)

Stations "Voltaire" & "Chateau d'Eau" in the Paris (France) subway will reopen tomorrow morning and disruptions are planned on line 7 from April 7 to 9. Download the updated "temporary" files:

I have done a complete rebuild of the database for Tours (France), which was long overdue.

Budapest

R. Fromer provided information for 2 additional lines for our Budapest (Hungary) database. I also fixed a few minor problems in the file.

Linz

I completely redesigned our database for Linz (Austria). No thanks to the guys there who never helped in 3 years.
