MetrO for BlackBerry

When I committed to deliver a version of MetrO for the BlackBerry monthes ago, I did not expect it would take so long. Today, at last, the wait is almost over and I am happy to release our first beta version of MetrO for BlackBerry.

It is not yet complete but I believe it has all the essential features that will make it useful on the first day. And despite what I have written before, this is a complete "on-board" software and you will need a network connection only to download the software itself and city databases.

Complete information and a download link are available here.

Please note that this is beta software and it has not been extensively tested on real devices. If you don't want to take any risk with your data, please don't install MetrO on your BlackBerry yet.
If you do want to participate in the beta phase,
please report any issue you may encounter, providing as much detail as possible (and accept our apologies). Thanks in advance!

  2. This thing is great. Small suggestion if i may...

-in the NYC Subway Lines, in the "Details" for each "Line"... put which other "Lines" you can transfer to next to the stop (i.e. the 4 line at 14th st you can transfer to the 1,2,3,j,m,z, i think, but you get the point).

all this info is available at http://mta.info/nyct/service/schemain.htm

e-mail me when you make this change. if you do i would like to redownload the new version.
