i-MetrO bug

i-MetrON. Knapp noticed a bug in the address routing feature of i-MetrO that dates back to the latest enhancements I made in February.

It's now fixed and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

RATPWorks on line 3 in Paris (France) ended last night. Next week-end, station "St Paul" (line 1) will close and the RER C will be replaced by a bus service between Gennevilliers & Ermont.

MetrO web site

MetrO Home PageSince it had not changed in more than 10 years (!), I have spent some time updating the design of our web site with a new color theme.

I also made sure it is W3C compliant and compatible with the most popular contemporary browsers.

With the additions made over the years, its organization would also need some work but this will be for later...

Bangkok

An anonymous user reported a wrong connection for one POI (Wat Hua Lamphong) in our database for Bangkok (Thailand).

Torino

T. Fusté asked us why our Torino (Italy) database contained bus routes and no tram route and this made me discover that the trams were actually present but wrongly labelled as bus lines.

Brno

F. Kadlec sent a few minor bug fixes for our data for Brno (Czech Republic) as well as a service change for works (on line 30).

In an unsual but most welcome move, officials at the "Ayuntamiento de Vitoria-Gasteiz" (Basque Country, Spain) sent their data for the future renovated transportation network of the city, due to begin service in June.

Reims

J.-M. Malherbe & G. Masclet sent a major update for Reims (France), which was just too late for making it in our new release, unfortunately.

MetrO fo Blackberry (installation)

BlackBerryC. Cao Thai has come up with a method to install MetrO on your BlackBerry from a desktop PC. It might be pretty standard for BB veterans but I have described it on our BlackBerry page for anyone who would want to avoid an OTA ("Over the Air") installation.

The TfL announces that Tube station Blackfriars in London (UK) will close tomorrow for about 1 year and a half. It also looks like DLR station Tower Gateway will reopen soon.
